Snooooooooooow! (Please?)

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii. :) So it's supposed to snow tonight, but not a lot. (What happened to the sixty-eight degree weather we had on Saturday???) Anywho, let's all do a snow dance, and flush ice cubes down the toilet, and sleep with a spoon under our pillows, eh? ;) Hey, don't laugh at me - a girl can dream!

So, before I go and do homework, I wanna go on a quick rant. You know how in some books the teenagers are all like, "I shall NEVER tell anyone about any of my supernatural problems or weird occurrences because I'm just too good and my parents won't understand and my friends will call me a liar and laugh at me and no one will help me, so I'm going to wait for the other main character of the story to finally figure out what's up with me."? *coughcough* Twilight *coughcough* Anyway, so I'm reading Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl and one little sentence Made. My. Day:

"And that vision, the fires, did you see it, too?"

Why did that make my day, you ask? BECAUSE. She (Lena, who said that quote) wasn't all like, "Ohmigosh,I can't let him think what he's seeing is real and that I'm seeing it too otherwise he'll think I'm weird and he'll have to figure out more about me by  himself." And thank GOODNESS for that!

Because I don't know about you, but chances are that in reality I'm going to ask someone if they had the freaky fire vision, too.

Rant over. And now for some funny in your day. :) Or at least if you're a fellow Potter-head...

Hehe.

School :/

Yay, so I have school tomorrow!!! (Can you sense the sarcasm in my exclamation points?)  I enjoy my breaks WAY too much.

OK, so I just finished Crossed by Ally Condie, it's part of the "Matched" trilogy. I don't think I got the grammar in that sentence quite right, but whatever.

So anyway, summary of Crossed (off of Amazon):

In search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky-—taken by the Society to his certain death—only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake.

Cassia’s quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border. But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and a surprise visit from Xander—who may hold the key to the uprising and, still, to Cassia’s heart-—change the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

Ooooh, cool right? Well I liked Matched better, but I still can not wait until the third book!!!

Well, I should probably start mentally preparing myself for school, right? Agh. Agghhhh. I know I'm stalling. Be quiet. Well, byeeeeee. :o)

Bugger. :

So I went to the Taylor Swift concert last month, and today I was/am going through and editing my pictures. Well, I came across this one and... it will forever bug me that there is an Apple laptop in the background. Let's play I Spy. Can you find it? ;p

Hiya!

Well, hi there! :) I'm still not really sure why I'm writing this blog. :)
Wait, yes I do: 'Cause I'm bored. Boredom inspires greatness, though - right?
Anyway, in case you somehow found me and DON'T know me, my name is Anna.
  • My favorite books are: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus, Underland Chronicles, The Matched Trilogy, and Hunger Games Trilogy.
  • I play competitive soccer, and I play goalkeeper! Yeah!
  • I read. A LOT. So be prepared of mindless ramblings on books I liked and/or hated.
  • If you're looking for best friends, they're taken - by me! Bwahaha. :) I'm looking at you, M, E, M, A, K, and A!!!
  • I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year. It is consuming me. OK, not really. But it's fun!
  • I love to sing and play piano!
  • I like making lists. :)
Anyway...this is my blog. Be prepared for complete randomness at completely random times of day.
